Chicago TV Station Captions Its Internet Video Clip

Chicago's ABC Channel 7 television station recently ran a story about accessibility at a local restaurant chain. The reporter, Karen Miers, who is deaf, discusses the system used by the restaurant's drive through window to meet the consumer needs of persons who are deaf or hard of hearing. When the TV news report was put on the Internet, it was also captioned. This story is an example of how businesses can make their services to the public fully accessible using effective communication.
